I do like the month of September, for me it brings in a sense of calm as the colours change to that orange and red autumnal glow. Not everyone welcomes the seasonal change as the days get shorter and the temperature starts to drop, later this month I will do a blog on Seasonal Affected Disorder it is said that one in twenty people suffer with this disorder and quite often the symptoms are overlooked. Reflexology is a complimentary therapy that can improve physical and mental wellbeing.
This summer I have been working on myself and this started with this affirmation. I have said this to myself everyday while doing my morning exercises:
I release what no longer serves me making space for new opportunities
I let go of the past with love and embrace the exciting possibilities ahead
I am open to positive change and welcome new beginnings with a heart full of gratitude.
This affirmation has helped me by finding the mental energy to write this blog and make plans for deereflexology for the remaining of 2024.
Over the summer I joined a ladies weightlifting class for my physical wellbeing, this is run by the lovely Sammy Saunders at SHEBARBELL, who inspires and encourages us to meet and beat our personal goals each week she can be found her on this link below. These classes have helped improve my stamina and my bingo wings with laughter and a sense of purpose. https://shebarbell.simplybook.it/v2/
Up and coming this Autumn I am going to be doing a facial reflexology course with Ziggie Bergman who runs a recognised Association of Reflexology's course. I will also do my Reiki 2 with my Reiki master Emma Hayes. By the end of the year, you will have a menu of therapies that you can choose from to create your own individual plans.
That’s enough for now. Look out for new blogs where I will be discussing some additional benefits of reflexology that will help with the change of the season. As well I thought that I would select a weekly animal oracle card for you lovely readers to give us guidance and encouragement, to address the smallest of tasks that we will be facing each week.
